How To Achieve A Secure Bond For Hair Systems

The bonding method for hair attachment might differ from person to person. It is very important to clean and prepare the scalp before attaching a hair system which is essential to secure a bond. There are different types of Hair Bonding options which are as stated below:

Tape-ons –

Tape-ons are one of the best methods to keep the style in place. It is a two-sided tape which has the power of super glue.

Clip-ons –

Clip-ons method can easily bond with the natural hair to your hair system. These are sewn into the hairpiece which is easy-to-use clips.

Perimeter bond –

It is considered a semi-permanent bond that gives you the freedom to sleep in it and even wash your hair.

This hair bonding is similar to Perimeter bonding but there is a need to shave the part which would be covered by a hairpiece.

Liquid adhesives can be very useful for achieving an undetectable appearance with the help of certain base materials for bonding. Follow the below steps to apply liquid adhesive.

  • Apply a thin layer of liquid adhesive using the application tool to the scalp’s bonding area. You can also apply a thin layer to the back of the hair system.
  • Make sure that both surfaces are completely dry.
  • The drying of the liquid adhesive may vary from one type of liquid to another. It is advised to wait for the first layer to completely dry.
  • It is recommended to apply additional layers of adhesive depending upon the experience with the particular product.
  • Let the layers of adhesive dry completely most likely for 10 minutes or more.
  • You can also experiment with different adhesives to see how they vary in hold time.
